Introverts have long been misunderstood. So says Susan Cain, author of the new book, "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking". This piece features an interview with Cane and Toronto writer Lara Zarum who did a great opinion piece for The Grid on Introversion and social media. All featured music by Charlie Finlay.

A visit to the farm




 A few pals and I went up to a friend's farm for the weekend recently. I brought along my recorder and captured some of the fun things we did like go to a maple syrup festival and play with the pigs.

Harper's crime bill passes

The Harper government has pushed through its contentious omnibus crime bill. Lots of people are unhappy about the tough-on-crime legislation, saying it will cost Canada both financially and socially.

Monsieur Lazhar and Undefeated - A Review

Putin Re-elected Russian President

Vladimir Putin will take on the Russian presidency for the third time. After it was announced Putin won Sunday's election, thousands of Russians have taken to the streets to protest the results.
